Spent time today going over the options for list building and AutoResponders. Jimmy Brown analyses that we must spend time on our List, our Traffic and Our Offer. And what do we spend time on, Traffic, Traffic and Traffic.

Seems to be crazy and seems to be true.

Putting all of our time into writing and posting articles on the Article Directories and spending time doing Forum and Blog posting is fine in itself and will build traffic and therefore build the list.

But!

I did not build my house. Heck I even get someone to paint for me. And clean the windows. And I did not build my computer…

Why spend all of my waking hours “List Building” when I can just outsource it just like the housebuilding, computer building, website building…

And to read that e.g. Marc Joyner buys 10,000 leads / subscribers onto his list every month is jaw-dropping. I mean, starting with a list of zero or perhaps 3 ( me, my Mum and the dog) adding subscribers from a website with an Alexa rank of 4 million just how long do you thing it takes to build your way to a list of, say, 1,000 which is a small but sufficient list?

Roughly a hundred years I’d say.

But do things the way the professionals do it and you can have your 1,000 in no time flat.

And then you can spend your time on the real focus of your business - your subscribers and what you can do for them
