An interesting post by Patric Chan about what I call Success Mindset; when he thought, with good reason, that he could not achieve something, he failed to complete it, but when he believed he could achieve it, he did.
I think that this is key to the whole mess of confusion and disempowerment that we find ourselves in when we come onto the web in search of…a second chance, a new life…you name it.
We are really unsure whether the opportunity we think we see is in fact genuine. And so our progress is painfully slow. If we knew that we would succeed we would succeed quickly.
For example, an entrepreneur hits a major problem and loses everything. Or rather, “loses capital, money, stocks and so on”. The success mindset and confidence that the entrepreneur built up are still there!
Now tell me, how long do you think it would take to bounce back from that position? I think it would happen very quickly-a few months, not the years taken to climb to the heights of achievement the first time.
Confidence is perhaps the single word that expresses “Success Mindset” best. Or maybe the best word is-decision. When you have decided to succeed, you succeed.
As Patric says, “If I Chan Do It, You Chan Do It!”
