With promotions like Who Loves Money coming up soon ( more on that in a few days ) the issue of protecting affiliate links arises. Theft is always unpleasant but theft by other affiliates seems doubly obnoxious.
The range of products is wide
- Power Link Generator is both expensive and a Mike Filsaine product and I’ve had poor service from him in the past
- Affiliate Link Cloaker - less expensive but customer service is still an issue
- James Huggins Refrigerator Door may be the answer and is free. I’m not sure if it can create links as I want them
- Elite Marketing has a webpage where you can cloak your link
- Auratech, looks good but I have not tried it out. Well the company seems to have gone bust but Tucows had a download. It cloaks OK but I want a redirect as well
- Mathew Glanfield suggests a short php script with incomplete instructions
- Finally I hope I found a way of cloaking and redirecting the links to nicheinspector
I’ve hyperlinked the word nicheinspector there but I could just do this http://www.newbie-on-the-net.com/nicheinspector.htm
Well I must keep looking since that did not work!
